MARTA:
Dora? I am very sorry, but you can't work here anymore.
 
DORA:
I knew this was coming. I just didn't expect it from you! Dora gets up and as she leaves. (sarcastic) Thanks for NOTHING!
 
MR. COOK:
Well, that's done. Now, I'd like you to check out Alexander.
 
MARTA:
(not too flattered) Alexander?
 
MR. COOK:
Yes. I believe he's the slowest one on the line now.
 
FACTORY
 
Marta walks through the factory floor.
 
MARTA:
Hi Helen.
 
Cold shoulder. Workers show her no mercy. She walks up to Alexander.
 
Hi Alexander. Let me see your orders, please.
 
ALEXANDER:
What? You're going to fire me, too?
 
Line worker shows Marta the orders.
 
MARTA:
(answering) No Alexander. She gives him the orders back and walks away.
 
Marta and Mr. Cook talk about production levels.
 
MR. COOK:
Well, in the last two weeks, production is down almost fifty percent. That's too much. You know, I put you in this management position to increase numbers. What's going on?
 
MARTA:
I know. I don't think I'm right for this job. I'm not a leader. I want my old job again.
 
MR. COOK:
Well, now, that's a problem. There are no more positions available.
 
MARTA:
What do you mean?
 
MR. COOK:
Well, I'm afraid you just can't work for this company anymore.
 
Marta is TOTALLY bummed out.
