Joe Adams was born in Seattle in 1932. He and his family lived in Seattle until he was six years old. Then they moved to Spokane.
Joe has lived in Spokane since his family moved here 66 years ago. Joe has had a good life here in Spokane. He has done a lot of different things in his life. He went to grade school for eight years. Then he attended high school for four years. He has also attended a couple of colleges, but he has never graduated from college.
Joe got married to his wife, Jean, 50 years ago. They have had a very good marriage. They have really enjoyed their life together. They now have five children and seventeen grandchildren.
Although they have lived in Spokane for the last 50 years, they have moved several times. Their first house was a small three-bedroom house. The house they are living in now is a big five-bedroom house. Joe has had a number of different jobs during the last 50 years. He has worked as a painter. He has also built many houses as a carpenter. He has even driven a taxi for a living. He has also sold new cars for a car company in Spokane. But Joe has never worked in a restaurant, and he has never been a clerk in a grocery store.
Although Joe is still working, he has taken a vacation every year. He and his family have gone camping many times. They have also flown to many different cities in the last 40 years. Joe has driven his family to Seattle at least ten times. Joe and his family have also ridden on the train a few times. They have never ridden the bus to go on vacation.
So you see Joe has had an interesting life. Joe and his wife hope that they will live to see their grandchildren grow up.
